The kilns, reconditioners, and pre-dryers are all manufactured from high quality Aluminium alloy which has the unique properties of being extremely strong, rigid, a high degree of resistance to corrosion, and light weight. These features enable the kilns to be erected quickly and safely while producing a strong long lasting structure.
The panels are known as the ‘Coat panel’which is unique to Incoplan and has been developed over many years of research. The panels are fully insulated with water repellent mineral wool which renders the thermal capacity both constant and long-lasting. The mineral wool, made of fibre glass and rock, is regenerable and biodegradable.

Ventilation is achieved through the use of electric fans with aluminium blades which may be fixed at various angles. For the electrical motor fans, which use rotors with the same diameter and two power settings, Incoplan recommends the option using inverter technology which allows for flexibility, low energy consumption and less wear and tear on the motors.
The type of heating system adopted depends on the energy source available (hot water, superheated or in the form of water vapour). The heat exchangers are in copper piping (or in stainless steel, upon request) with the finning in aluminium, fitted with flanged headers for connections to the plumbing system external to the system.
The humidification system comprises a series of nebulizer nozzles of various types and piping in stainless steel which ensure a correct hygroscopic balance between the wood and the inside of the cells. The exchange of humid air expelled from within the cell and its replacement is achieved through aluminium roll-up roof shutters with a servomotor which, upon request, can be boosted with the addition of special extractors.
The Kilns are controlled using the KDM integrated system, comprising:
1. KDM - Kiln Drier Manager, on-board programming and control unit which governs the drying cycles, monitoring and recording all events;
2. easy@full.control, exclusive software used for the integrated and remote management of the drying cycle: it allows for the management of a multiple drier system in “cell edge” mode, also with the optional use of a PC up to one kilometre away and via the Web;
3. a probe system to reveal the temperature and humidity of wood and air;
