About Us

MPB Engineering is a second generation family business which opened its doors in 1974, and has been trading profitably ever since. The company is owned and operated by Peter Bottomley, and with his sons involved, ensures the company's longevity.

The core element of the business is the design, manufacture, service, and sales of woodworking equipment. Whilst we cater for all types of industries, the majority of work is carried out for the sawmilling and timber industries.

All design work and manufacturing are carried out at our Global Headquarters in Victoria, Australia. Our cutting edge designs are done using state-of-the-art 3D design software, Solid Works. Coupled with CNC machinery, a high standard of accuracy and repeatability is ensured on all our products.

Whilst we operate primarily within Australia, we export some of our products to Indonesia, Africa, Canada, USA, and the United Kingdom. Our long term goal is to achieve further national and export markets with the Endmatcher and associated products. To further this goal, we seek overseas companies to market our machinery, of which we have had great success in recent times
