About Us

MPB Engineering is a second generation family business which opened its doors in 1974, and has been trading profitably ever since. The company is owned and operated by Peter Bottomley, and with his son involved, ensures the company's longevity.

The core element of the business is the design, manufacture, service, and sales of woodworking equipment. Whilst we cater for all types of industries, the majority of work is carried out for the timber and related industries.

All design work and most manufacturing is carried out at our Global Headquarters in Victoria, Australia. Our cutting edge designs are done using state-of-the-art 3D design software. Coupled with CNC machinery, a high standard of accuracy and repeatability is ensured on all our products.

As well as designing and manufacturing of specialised custom products in house, we source standard machinery from local and overseas suppliers. We can supply almost any type of woodworking and finishing machine available.

Whilst we operate primarily within Australia, we export some of our products to Indonesia, Africa, Canada, USA, and the United Kingdom. Our long term goal is to achieve further national and international exposure with our products within the timber industry.
